Generating Web Pages (XHTML) and Publishing them to your live site
Publishing with liveSTORYBOARD CMS is simple and fast. liveSTORYBOARD CMS generates (X)HTML/JSP/RSS/Atom/text/etc. -- instantaneously
When you make changes or add content to your site with liveSTORYBOARD, the final steps are usually to generate the modified area or the whole site and promote the changes to your live site.
liveSTORYBOARD handles web publishing in a few simple steps, with extra attention to quality:
liveSTORYBOARD pregenerates static or dynamic pages to optimize performance.
Changes made through liveSTORYBOARD are always first generated to a staging environment
An intermediate server(s) used to deploy updated content/code/design to assure quality before promoting to the live environment and then promoted to either additional stages or to your live site depending on your setup.

To generate content, pages, topics, folders or the complete site, you simply select the area you would like to affect from your site's hierarchy in the Project Navigation, click the Publish tab and select a generation option. A site with a 100 pages usually takes a few seconds to generate.
Once you have generated, usually you would check the results on a preview stage (e.g. dev.yoursitename.com) and following approval - yours or your team depending on your workflow - you would promote the changes to the next stage or to the live site. If your live site is hosted elsewhere, you can either download a zip and upload the changes to your server/ISP's server or you can provide liveSTORYBOARD with an FTP account, so the CMS can automate the process.
liveSTORYBOARD clients can get at least one staging environment and the Promote options vary based on the number of stages you have signed up for.
